Core principle

Browsing, searching, and exporting your backup are processed on your computer. The network is used only for StoreKit purchases, Pubvio ad delivery, loading public sticker images, and the feedback or diagnostics you choose to send.

Data we collect or transmit

LAILOLA has no accounts and does not collect or transmit LINE chat content, photos, contacts, attachments, or backup paths.

• Pubvio ads: App ID, app category, placement, ad ID, impression ID, and view/click/hide/report events. Chat content is never used to select ads.
• Feedback: the text you enter, a random ticket ID, the app version, and the submission time.
• Diagnostics: only if you choose to send them — the error shown on screen, OS/app versions, memory info, stack trace, and recent technical logs.
• App Store: product lookup, purchases, and restores are handled by Apple StoreKit.
• LINE stickers: images may be fetched from LINE's public CDN using the sticker ID when displayed.

As with normal network operation, servers and delivery providers may briefly process IP addresses for service delivery, abuse prevention, and rate limiting. LAILOLA does not use this to build user profiles or estimate precise location.

What LAILOLA reads

Only the iPhone backup on your own computer that you grant access to in the file picker.

What LAILOLA never does

• Never accesses your LINE account or chat APIs
• Never asks for your LINE password
• Never modifies your original LINE settings or backup contents
• Never shares chats, photos, contacts, or attachments with advertisers
• No cross-app or cross-site tracking
• Never uses chat content or sensitive data to select ads

Local storage and deletion

On macOS, derived data lives in the app's Application Support area; the main search database is ~/Library/Application Support/com.lailola.app/lailola.sqlite. Deleting the app's data removes the local copies LAILOLA created. Your original iPhone backup is never changed.

About unread display

"Read without being seen" shows information from your local backup. LAILOLA never opens LINE conversations and never sends read receipts. Check LINE itself for the actual state.

Retention and your choices

• Ad events are kept as needed for measurement, fraud prevention, and report handling, within operational and legal requirements.
• Feedback and diagnostics are used to fix and improve the app, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
• After unlocking Pro, LAILOLA loads no Pubvio ads.
